Feb. 13 through 24 - The Colorado Women’s Bar Association is hosting a book drive to benefit CWEE (Center for Work Education and Employment). CWEE provides programming geared toward three goals: Preparing for Employment, Finding Employment, and Keeping Employment. Literacy and reading are the backbone of CWEE’s instructional curriculum. CWEE maintains a reading room and holds regular reading classes to advance the reading skills of CWEE participants and their children. Click here for the flier with details and drop-off locations.

The CWBA is offering Protective Orders Training.  Attend this valuable day of training to learn about the Permanent Protective Orders process, acquire CLE credits, and have the opportunity to gain some courtroom experience by volunteering for pro bono cases.  Application has been made for 7 General and 2 Ethics CLE Credits.  Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.  Click here for the flier with details and registration information.

Be a LawLine 9 Volunteer!!!  You don't need to have specific legal expertise, and will not be providing specific legal advice.  Volunteers refer callers to resources (the studio provides a notebook with this information) specific to their situation.  Studios of KUSA Channel 9, 500 E.
