Join us for the second program of a three-part series that will address advancing women in the law through claiming our value.

Approved for 2 general, 1.2 ethics CLE credits.

Change in your career is inevitable. Learning to navigate change in a way that helps you create value rather than allowing the change to be a stumbling block on your path sets you up for long term success. At this program, you'll learn how to claim your value through change by discovering how:

  • Your current response to change empowers you or holds you back.
  • To turn a negative approach to change into a positive one.
  • To move through the discomfort of change and confidently increase your capacity to be influential.
  • To navigate change in your practice in line with ethical obligations to create value for your clients and your practice moving forward.

The program will address the general qualities of change and then go on to cover distinct transitions you may face throughout your legal career and how to approach them ethically and strategically. Specific transitions we will address include: law student to lawyer; associate to partner; private practice to government; private practice to in-house; practicing to retirement; and non-parent to parent.
