Learning To Lawyer with a Pluralistic Mindset: Implicit Bias and Gender CLE

  • April 05, 2019
  • 8:15 AM - 1:00 PM
  • The Chancery Building Training Room, Second Floor 1120 Lincoln Street, Denver

CLE co-sponsored by the CWBA and Colorado Criminal Defense Bar (CCBD) Registration is through the CCDB website

The purpose of this CLE is to help our attorney community become more aware of personal biases that might foster prejudice or otherwise impair participation in the legal community based on gender.

At the CLE, each attendee will explore personal biases privately, in a non-judgmental environment. The goal of the CLE is to help the attendee become aware of how the attendee’s current worldview might include implicit biases towards certain genders, including their own, and to teach methods for developing a pluralistic mindset in an effort to help the attendee grow to be a better advocate, colleague, and human being.

All participants should take the Harvard Implicit Bias Gender Career test prior to the CLE. Click here to take the test.
