Storming The Commissions

We are pleased to bring you another installment of our award-winning "Storming" program series -- Storming the Commissions!

Volunteer your time and expertise by serving in a leadership role on one of the many state, judicial, and municipal commissions and boards! These organizations are continually looking for qualified candidates, Lawyers are highly valued for the legal acumen and skills they bring to these commissions, and it's a tremendous opportunity for women to help govern and have their powerful voices heard. 

The Governor's Office of Boards and Commissions alone has almost 300 boards and commissions that oversee a large variety of subjects and make a wide range of decisions affecting your day-to-day lives as Coloradans. Our keynote speakers are Nikky Patel, Deputy Director, Boards and Commissions and Jenna Goldstein, Deputy Legal Counsel with the Office of Governor Jared Polis. 

Join us for a highly informative session to prepare our members to "Storm The Commissions" by learning how to apply and interview for one of the many commissions and boards in Colorado.
