Join us for this informative session as Greg Sobetski, Principal Economist at the Colorado Legislative Council Staff (LCS), provides an overview and explanation of the measures on the Colorado 2022 Ballot. LCS serves as the nonpartisan research arm of the Colorado General Assembly and is responsible for drafting Colorado’s Blue Book.

Our speaker will briefly discuss the Colorado Ballot process and then walk us through all of Colorado’s Ballot measures, with special time given to Proposition FF (Taxes and Education); Proposition GG (Direct Democracy); Proposition 122 (Psychedelic Plants and Fungi Initiative); Proposition 123 (Affordable Housing); Propositions 124-126 (Alcohol and Business); and, Amendment D (State Judiciary).

Louise Myrland, Vice President of Programs at The Women’s Foundation of Colorado (WFCO), will also inform us about The Womanifesto, the WFCO's “Ballot Guide for Coloradans Who Want Women To Thrive.”

This program will decode the ballot measure language and explain the pro arguments and con arguments of each measure. Attendees will leave the event ready to make educated decisions about their ballot votes, and armed with more knowledge and understanding of our ballot measures and their impact on our state, the economy, and women and families.
