Plan to join us for a cocktail reception (with heavy appetizers and one complimentary drink) and silent auction, followed by the screening with a panel discussion of the documentary film
RBG starring United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The panel discussion will address Justice Ginsburg's legacy, and the future of law and policy in the areas of gender and racial equality in the context of education, equal pay, reproductive rights, voting rights, and criminal prosecution. Colorado Supreme Court Justice Melissa Hart will moderate the panel discussion with other female leaders, including the following:
  • Judge Sandra Rothenberg (Ret.), Senior Judge, Colorado Court of Appeals
  • Rep. Jessie Danielson (D), Legislator, Speaker Pro Tempore of the House, Colorado General Assembly
  • Sen. Cheri Jahn (U), Senator/Small Business Owner, Colorado General Assembly
  • Denise Maes, Esq., Public Policy Director of the ACLU of Colorado
  • Professor Catherine Smith, University of Denver Sturm College of Law

At the age of 85, Justice Ginsburg has developed a breathtaking legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. But without a definitive Ginsburg biography, the unique personal journey of this diminutive, quiet warrior's rise to the nation's highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans – until now. RBG is a revelatory documentary exploring Ginsburg 's exceptional life and career from Betsy West and Julie Cohen, and co-produced by Storyville Films and CNN Films.

Tickets are $75 which includes heavy appetizers, complimentary drink (courtesy of the Denver Film Society), panel discussion and film screening. Free parking available in the Sie's parking garage.

All tickets are being sold through the Sie FilmCenter website
