The CWBA is thanking our members who participate in pro bono work, non-profit organizations, government positions, and any other do-gooders by giving YOU something for a change!

Join us for this FREE CLE (for two ethics credits!) on how to help yourself while you help others. Presented in partnership with Colorado Lawyer Assistance Program (COLAP).

Stress isn't all bad. On a day-to-day basis, it motivates us to get our to-do list accomplished and, in extreme cases, it can save our lives. However, when we become overwhelmed, our stress response isn't working for us; it's working against us, causing many negative side effects that can compromise our health, our relationships, and even our work. Being exposed to other people's stress and trying to budget our time efficiently when we have too much on our plate can exacerbate the problem. When attorneys are regularly exposed to other people's stress and essentially take on other people's problems, both our personal and professional lives can suffer.

This presentation will assist our members in understanding and mitigating the effects of stress, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, decision fatigue, and case fatigue.

Please note our speaker change from Ron Wilcoxson as previously announced.
