CWBA LIFT! Mentorship Program

EMPOWER AND BE EMPOWERED!

Are you in need of mentorship, or do you want to give back by mentoring? New to Colorado or Denver? Changing practice areas? Ready to level-up? Dealing with a life change?

If so, the CWBA LIFT! Mentorship Program is for you.

The CWBA and its Mentorship Committee members proudly offer CWBA members the CWBA LIFT! mentoring program provided in partnership with the Colorado Office of Attorney Professional Excellence (APEX). 

Participating in CWBA LIFT! offers you a unique opportunity to:

• Find your perfect mentorship relationship! While simple, the application process captures enough information to allow the team to pair you with a fellow CWBA member specifically tailored for you. The program is flexible, offering two tracks (CLE and non-CLE) workable for every schedule.
  
  
• Earn 9 hours of CLE credits! By participating in the CLE-accredited track, you can earn 9 general, 2 ethics CLE credits when completed within one year. Click here to read our LIFT! FAQs. The application period for the 2026 cohort is now open!  The 2026 CWBA LIFT! Mentorship Program will launch with a program on February 4, 2026, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. hosted by Davis Graham. The program will run through January 31, 2027.

The program is open to CWBA attorney members only and is not open to law students or paralegal students. 

The program has two tracks from which to choose:

• CLE-Accredited Track: requires following the structured CWBA LIFT! Curriculum, available here.
• Non-CLE Track: an informal mentorship with no curriculum, still a part of the CWBA LIFT! program.

The application process is simple, and this program is offered only one time per year.
