CWBA ANNUAL CONVENTION
Message from the Captains Regarding our
Folks, we’ve experienced some turbulence due to COVID-19 entering our great state and current CDC guidelines regarding the holding of large events. Please buckle up and stay with us. We’re currently in a holding pattern with this Convention as we evaluate and monitor current conditions. We will let you know as soon as we can if or when we get clearance to land or if we are grounded. Your health and safety is our top priority.
But seriously...The Colorado Women’s Bar Association and its 2020 Convention Committee are closely monitoring the rapidly developing COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak and recommendations from national and state government and the CDC. The health and safety of our members, your families, and our staff and community are of utmost importance to us. Therefore, the CWBA is carefully assessing our 43rd Annual Convention that is scheduled for May 15-17, 2020 in Beaver Creek. If the CWBA deems it necessary to postpone, cancel, or modify our Annual Convention we will update membership immediately.
The CWBA's prestigious Mary Lathrop Trailblazer Award will presented to Velveta Golightly-Howell during the Convention during a reception at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020.
Read more about Mrs. Howell and the history of the award, and see a list of previous recipients here.
