  • Sie FilmCenter, 2510 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, 80206
Tickets on sale now! Plan to join us for a segments screening and discussion of the documentary film “Strong Sisters: Elected Women In Colorado."

"Strong Sisters: Elected Women in Colorado" tells the extraordinary story of elected women in Colorado. The compilation of oral histories from past and current female elected officials is the foundation for this documentary film.

So what's going on in Colorado? Why does Colorado have this proud history of electing women to public office? What difference have elected women made in our state? And why hasn't Colorado elected a female Governor, U.S. Senator, or Mayor of Denver? Strong Sisters examines these questions and inspires today's women to build on our remarkable history.

A panel discussion with the filmmakers and legislators featured in the film will take place before and during the screening with film segments. Cocktail reception and silent auction at 6 p.m. prior to the film screening.

Ticket Price: $75.00 includes one cocktail, heavy appetizers, and film admission. First drink free courtesy of the Denver Film Society. Free parking in the garage connected to the Sie FilmCenter.

Please note all ticket sales for this event are through the Denver Film Society website or box office. Click here for a direct link.
