Calling All Working-From-Home Moms!
Has working from home during the COVID-19 shutdown allowed you to spend more time with your kids than you ever thought possible, with all of the associated pros and cons? Would you like to hear from other mothers who are coping with the same unique challenges, such as teaching and keeping children busy while schools are closed? Under ordinary circumstances, there would be no better time to get together for our annual CWBA Moms' Luncheon, but for obvious reasons, we have had to cancel the in-person event.
But THAT WON’T STOP US! Instead, we invite one and all (and kiddos too) to join us on Tuesday, March 31, for a Moms' Virtual Pajamas & Pizza Party! You provide the pizza and the PJs, and we’ll provide the fellowship. (TIP: Uber Eats is waiving delivery fees for all orders from independent restaurants on the app.)
In keeping with our traditional Moms' Luncheon program format, we will convene briefly via videoconferencing for an introduction by fellow lawyer and CWBA supporter Liz Oertle of Nanno, an on-demand childcare service, and then break out into facilitated webcast chat groups focused on children’s ages:
Registered participants will receive a set of printable coloring pages to keep the kids busy while the moms get to talk, and each break-out group will give prizes for best PJs.
