Click here to sign up to volunteer. CWBA members are encouraged to volunteer for a pro se asylum clinic for Afghan Parolees being held in partnership with International Rescue Committee (IRC). In the absence of an Afghan Adjustment Act, most Afghans paroled into the United States during the evacuation will need to apply for asylum to gain legal permanent residence in the United States eventually.
Both legal and non-legal volunteers for AM and PM shifts are needed. We will be training volunteers who can take a shift for the IRC clinic.
